After you set all the settings, did you fully power down the unit (unplug it) then reboot and give it approx 10 mins?

Where is the SIM card from? Was it attached and transmitting data in a previous device before entering into the we826?

What output do you get from entering AT!GSTATUS? in the AT command terminal (Modem-->Miscellaneous on the side menu)

are you sure vzwinternet is the APN name for your SIM/account? maybe its "internet". Are you certain you did not misspell it? Ive done it. Did you use any capitalization? dont

Double check your verizon account and make sure theres no funny stuff going on there.

Also, does the SIM info populate in the GUI under Modem-->Network Status-->Modem/Sim Information

ie: Modem IMEI, SIM IMSI, SIM ICCID, SIM Phone Number

Don't post those numbers anywhere, just asking if its populated there in that section

System mode: WCDMA PS state: Not attached < That's a problem
Could be a number of things, firmware flashed on the modem, antennas not connected properly, etc, etc.
Verizon's apn is normally: vzwinternet
But if it's a reseller then it can be different... without any information provided it's just a stab in the dark.

What's your carrier?
Does the SIM card work for both calls and web in a phone?

While I agree this is most likely a network/service related issue,

Code: Select all

GMM (PS) state:DEREGISTERED PLMN SEARCH
MM (CS) state: IDLE PLMN SEARCH

I would first run though each set carefully in the TROUBLESHOOTING guide to help eliminate the obvious.

Is the MC7455 showing up as the device when you log into your Verizon account?

No it’s not showing on the Verizon account as a device. Rechecked all connections again still nothing. Might open a laptop up and try the wireless card in it and test it out?

Assuming the router is reading the SIM Card correctly, i.e.,

Code: Select all

AT+CPIN?
returns Ready, lets first make sure the APN is being programmed correctly into the modem.

Run the following AT Commands and post the results:

Code: Select all

AT!CGDCONT?
Then, make sure the modem is using the generic carrier firmware.

Code: Select all

AT!IMPREF?

Yeah, my mistake. It should have been:

Code: Select all

AT+CGDCONT?
