Inseego M2000 help

Hi I'm looking for some help. I have a inseego M2000B that I'm having trouble with. I've had it for a couple years, but turned it off a little over a year ago. I went to T-Mobile to reactivate it getting a new sim card etc. When I turned it on I got a notice to update. I allowed it to update at least two times. The last time it turned on I got "Final Assembly Test UI v1.0" message and it's locked up. I spoke with Inseego and they said that the modem is out of warranty and the only way to fix it is to re-flash it. He said they do not offer to reflash outside of warranty. Is this something that can be fixed. Any help would be appreciated.
