Google Fi and LT500

Hey everyone!
Recently purchased a LT500 and unlimited hotspot plan on Google Fi. Turns out, they were putting my hotspot traffic under regular data on my LT500, which caused it to be over 50GB and throttle on 2G speeds. I was scrolling around the forum to trying to find a workaround for Fi, but couldn’t. Can someone please help me setup right settings so carrier thinks i’m using hotspot instead of data?
