Wireless Joint

So I have a NEXP1GO router with wifix, and quectel EM20 modem,I seems that it loses internet but still shows connected with a green light when I am moving along down the road. I will have to power down and power back up to reconnect and have internet. any ideas on why it keeps loosing its connection but still shows its connected. not sure if its modem settings issues or router issue settings.

any help is appreciated.

Rooter/openWRT doesn't really have aggressive reconnection scripts. You may want to try putting the modem in ECM mode, I think it may handle it better.. BUT if you "lose" comms with it, you'll have to put it back in QMI or MBIM via command line. Sometimes the Quectel modems act odd in ECM.
