RM502Q-AE AT&T Registration - Unknown MCC/MNC

I have a AT&T SIM provisioned for an unlimited 5g cellphone (it works fine in my cell phone) that I'm attempting to use with the modem in openwrt on a rpi4b.
I'm not overly knowledgeable about using modemmanager or mmcli, the last time i really did anything with a modem it was 1997 and you measured the speed in kilobits.
I was expecting to be able to provide the same APN as my phone and be off and running, this doesn't seem to be the case as i keep getting the above message. I've tried a few of the other AT&T listed APNs to no avail.

| operator id: 310410
| registration: idle
Based on the above mmcli -m 0 output the mcc/mnc should be 310 410 which matches at&t - so why am i getting unknown mcc/mnc? Is an apn setting mismatch?

Still having a tough time getting initial registration on AT&T.
I've tried so many different param / qwcfg i finally just did an AT&F to start fresh again.... same thing.
Any help is appreciated. This just keeps repeating in the logs:

Hi - did you ever figure this out? i'm facing the same issue and didn't see any updates to your post. Thanks for any guidance you can provide with AT&T SIM APN.
