I'm looking for external antenna recommendations for the modem side of my Cradlepoint Router/Modem. It has 2 SMA ports.

If you mounted the antennas up on your roof, or similar structure and height, are there trees between the potential antennas and your cell tower(s)? Landmasses or buildings?

If not, then you have a "Clear line of sight" and LPDA antennas are generally the lowest cost option for the most bang: https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/anten ... l-antenna/

If you do have trees between, then generally the flat panel directional design has been a goo choice: https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/anten ... onnectors/

If you have landmasses or buildings between, OR you are constantly mobile and you really don't want to mess with aiming, then either testing multiple types for your need is best, or an omni-directional antenna: https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/anten ... rine-base/

If you really want the directional mojo super power and generally have a clear line of sight, then the ole parabolic grid is the monster with the power: https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/anten ... na-bundle/

Then you'll just need a set of appropriate cabling: https://thewirelesshaven.com/product-ca ... ax-cables/
Look for LMR200 for under 20 foot, LMR240 for under 30 foot, LMR400 for up to about 75-100 feet, and LMR600 for longer.
