Verizon LTE Home Internet Throttling

I recently signed up for Verizon home internet for about $25/ month. The hardware that they sent is a modem/ router combo, Model Number ARC-XCI55AX. When running a speed test the download speed shoots up to about 120Mbps and then settles on 50Mbps, the same occurs with the upload shoots up to 30Mbps and settles at 6Mbps. This is in line with what they advertise for the service. So this isn't the case where they've sold one thing and are delivering another. I also have a Verizon hotspot and cell phone, which both achieve (120 down/ 30 up).

I am pretty convinced Verizon is throttling the home internet speeds. Does anyone know how they are doing this and have a suggestion on how to bypass it?

~Thanks for the suggestions.

You need to make it look like a phone to them then you can get faster speeds.

Any tips on how to make this happen? In looking at the settings it doesn't appear that there is the ability to change the TTL settings. There also isn't a physical SIM card in this device, so I can't swap it out put it into a different modem.

I am not familiar with this device, I have not had or worked on it before yet, do you have it apart yet?
They usually have a USB port hiding inside as well as a sim card, it's a drag you have to take some of these apart
just to get to all that, but to make it look like a phone at a minimum you need to IMEI repair it and set the TTL to your carriers value, how you go about doing that is entirely up to you, there is always more than one way to skin a cat

It does have an accessible USBC port on the outside of the device. The isn't a physical SIM card or card slot in the device it uses an ESIM.
