Antennas for EM7565 and WG3526

Maybe I need a whole new set up, I don't know. What I do know is that the switch from Sprint to T-Mobile has been a mess. Speeds are anywhere from 70 down to .5 and very randomly. Maybe the damn thing is over heating, but it happens late in the evening as well some times. As I speak it's 118 degrees f.

I have been with calyx, and this set up for a few years and it all went to hell with the t-mobile switch now (with a little modem magic). Don't get me wrong, Sprint wasn't great BUT I did have some consistency. Not any more.

I have 3 towers around me. I'm almost in the middle of them, the furthest one 1.6 miles the other 2 are closer. The one I think I'm picking up is less than a mile. The only obstructions are trees for all three towers (FL is just plain flat).

The router is in my garage (no AC) and I have 15' cables running to the antennas on the roof. The antennas come in at about 16' above sea level but I can probably add a few feet to that

I'm will to spend some time on money on this but am starting to wonder if I should be looking at alternatives.

I have also attached my speed test at the time of this posting. Holey WTF... I just can't take it any more!

Your speed test shows you have tower congestion. The new Calyx Tmo SIMs seem to be on the same priority as pre-paid. It's rediculous.

Do you have a Tmobile consumer or business cell phone that you can test there?

Overall on that band at that moment you have excellent signal. Band 66 is a high frequency band ( 1700/2100MHz ). Which means it does not travel far or through obstructions as well as lower frequency bands, and yet you have nearly excellent signal stats.

You MIGHT be able to use directional antennas placed on the side of the garage to isolate your signal to individual towers, and choose the tower that serves you the best speeds.

You may also want to start testing all the available bands on your tower and see which ones serve you the best performance.

It's going to take a bit of trial and error.

You may also want to try and up your service to a straight Tmobile line that has better priority, but it really does look like you have some serious tower congestion. That you can do nothing about other than get a higher priority plan.
