DNS Sever issues. Have to reboot device daily

Hello gang!
I am having to reboot my router daily. My normal speeds are at 100Mbps. But I will have to reboot the device every day. This is on an ATT plan. I believe it's due to the dynamic server it's producing...a 172.x.x.x.
Anybody else have this issue happening?
I'm thinking I can replace that with 8.8.8.8 and solve the issue? but can't seem to get rid of the 172.X.x.x.x. etc.
MODs, not sure where this should go. If this is not the spot, let me know.
