Wireless Joint

Hey,

Wondering if anyone has experience with the protectli external modem enclosure? Looks similar to the WirelessHaven usb enclosure only with ethernet interface. I would want 4x4 mimo modem so would need modifying the case a bit, but other than that might work for my use case. I currently use an Edgerouter4 which won't support usb3 modems to my knowledge (either way it's in a rack in the basement and usb that length wouldnt' work). Ethernet run from this enclosure to my ER4 would save me the WG3526 in the middle i'm using now.

Doubt there is compatible GO firmware though... and from their manual it doesn't appear they have an option to change TTL, but curious as to others experience!

So talked to the company and appears it should work with whatever modem i want via pcie, then ethernet to my edgerouter 4 (although i'll need to figure out how to set ttl on it).
