I have the Quectel RM502Q-AE modem in the USB3 enclosure. Connected directly to a Windows 10 machine's USB port, I can get speed tests of roughly 150mbps down / 40mbps up (while my iPhone 13 sitting next to it gets 300+mbps down). Modem has latest firmware and computer has latest USB driver.

On My T-Mobile homepage, it shows a 4G device (TCL 20XE 4G smartphone) as my device. I'm thinking because T-Mobile thinks the modem is a 4G device, they are only sending data through the 4G signal. Using Putty, I can tell the modem is picking up a 5G signal too.

Does this sound like my setup is being affected by T-Mobile's recognition of the modem as a 4G device?
