RM500Q-AE & TMHI

I'm getting ready to finalize my TMHI build with my RM500Q-AE!
I'm here to ask for advice on what mode I should put the modem in for optimal performance, or just advice in general.
I've done several setups using 4G modems but never a 5G one. Using two 2x2 panels (so 4x4 MIMO), and externally mounting it all.
I've already updated the modem to the latest firmware I could find (RM500QAEAAR11A02M4G_01.003.01.003).
My main concern is I have no idea how these 5G modems work, I'm sure it will do a combination of 4g/5g much like my TMHI box works?
Not asking how to do any kind of magic here, that's already taken care of.. just need some tips and pointers on how to optimally get this 5g modem to rock and roll
