I think that is the strongest/cleanest LTE signal I've ever came across! No wonder why your LTE speeds are so high.

Thank you! I'm away for work right now and this hotel I stay at has the wildest speeds I've ever seen over LTE. I wish I had this level of signal at my house. While I'm here I plan to build a 5G setup and see how much speed I can really push. I alao want to see what happens with the ping time on sub 6 Ghz 5G

Cat 12 in a NEXP1GO/WG3526 can kill it. I used to get 300Mbps+ with the EM7565 (and EM12G) on Sprints B41 (3xCA). Smokes!

Have you messed around with any 5G stuff yet to squeeze out more performance?

Yep. Via both mpcie adapter and usb to the NEXP1GO.

For us 5G isnt better then 4G+ because we only focused on the upload for our German Mobile Proxies. 5G is only a bit higher but a lot more expensive. Also not always 5G is faster in our place. We have very strong 5G and 4G+ signal but 4G+ works better in download. You really have to check it first.

My experience has been with both 5G-NR SA and NSA connections. SA connections have lower ping that is typically more consistent. Speeds vary depending on the equipment on the tower and backhaul to the tower. As of right now in the US, T-Mobile is the only carrier with fully live 5G-NR SA. As someone who games often the lower ping is important to me. I usually get around 22 to 27 ms ping in the rural area I live in. Closer to Detroit (which is where the closest 5G Core to me is located) I get 13 to 20 ms ping.

As for speed it highly depends once again on tower equipment, bands, bandwidth and backhaul. I've seen close to 1300 mbps down on T-Mobile with no mmwave on a 5G-NR SA connection. Average speeds with T-Mobile are around 300 to 600 mbps down with 50 mbps up. I just got AT&T a few days ago and haven't been to an area with C-Band or mmwave yet. AT&T also doesn't have 5G-NR SA fully live yet and neither does Verizon. I'm hoping they get it together and have 5G-NR SA live by the end of the year so I can do more testing.
