Tmobile for Mofi 4500

I need a Tmobile plan that I can put in a Mofi 4500. I don't need much data -5 to 10G would be plenty. I just need a backup data plan to control my vacation home.
I currently use Verizon 15GB plan in another Mofi. I want to run the two Mofi's into a TP Link Safe Stream that I bought sometime back
I don't want to use Tmobile home internet as I don't want to pay $50. I already have one Calyx account and could add another but it would cost me $500 for the first year -about $42 month and I understand it that now the sim is locked to the hotspot..
Looking for a $20-25 plan
Will a hotspot plan "legally" work? I really don't want to do any magic. If not what plans do Tmobile sell that will work in router?
