T-mobile 5G on a WG3526 with a USB3.0 to NGFF M.2 Key and quectel rm500q-ae?

Trying to do some research on getting 5G with my T-mobile/wg3526 setup. Is my understanding correct that I can get that adapter and modem and plug that into my wg3526 usb port for 5G? Not sure if there are any other threads or tutorials on this or similar setups. Any help or directions to a thread where this might already be explained would be appreciated!
