Help with 7455 and T-Mobile

Post by Bsnyder70 »

I just purchased a new WE 826 and A MC7455 and I am having trouble getting T-Moblie connecting with a decent speed. With my T-Mobile Note 9 phone at-87dbm I am getting about 7mbps down. with the Modem I am only getting about 1.5mbps with a -71dbm signal. I am using fast.t-mobile.com(same as my Ph) and my apn and no custom ttl. What are the suggested settings? Is there some additional information needed? Something to note, I am also able to use my att(Straight Talk) Prepaid sim and get about 4.5mbps down at a -84dbm.

I would set the TTL properly.

Is this test in the same area as with the phone?

I'd experiment with both, and see what happens.

Is there a benefit to switching the Sierra card to MBIM mode in this situation?
