Mofi 4500 Hotspot consumes data while nothing is connected

Hello,
I recently purchased a Mofi 4500 for my remote vacation home.
I'm using Red Pocket Mobile connected to the Verizon Network. I get outstanding performance.
My issue is that between the hotspot and the Verizon Network I'm consuming about 120Mbps per day without anything connected to the hotspot.
Since this is vacation home, and for weeks I'm not there I won't be using it, I'm trying to avoid an unlimited service.
Does anyone have any advice on how to limit the 'overhead' data?
