Hello,
I just flashed the latest goldenorb firmware to my new wg1608 router with a rm500q-ae modem. I setup the router based on the guides found here. The apn was also set. The modem network status page shows provider as "connecting"
The connection log shows:
Attempting to connect to modem #1
This repeats. Doesn't seem to want to connect
RM500Q-AE modem not connecting

Need a few more details to start.
What carrier and plan?
Is the SIM card from another device?
What APN did you use? Where did you enter the APN?
Did you set the system time and time zone to your local area?
What communication protocol is the modem set to? (MBIM or QMI, found in the system log under the status menu. Do a text search in you browser when on the system log page. If you search for one or the other and it finds either one, that is your protocol. It should never find both)
You'll also see much more detail in the system log, than the connection log. Again, under the status menu. Not the kernal log.
