connect Qyectel EMqw-g to u.fl fm right angle to SMA 178 pigtail cable

Hi,. I purchase from LTE a Quectel EM12-G cat 12 m.2 modem, and U.FL female right angle to SMA 178 PIGTAIL cables.
I can't seem to get the cables connected to the modem.
Can anyone help me.
Is this the correct cable for the modem?
Is there a special tool to do this?
Please share your expertise on how to do this.
