Hiring Setup Guru

New to everything here. Like many others, I live in a rural area where broadband is limited to 3mb DSL and expensive. Recently bought a WG1608 router and a EM160R-gl. I have T-Mobile. Though 5G is in my area, its not any faster than 4G. I'm offing to pay someone to update everything and setup my router. (Which I would pay shipping to and from) Can a regular unlimited phone sim work or would this require a data only one?
Either way, looking for someone knowledgeable and reputable and willing to pay. I have neither the time nor the patience.
