I use putty and enter root and the password and i am in.
1) need to find the at commands i can use
2) do i need to use minicom as my entry? I need the minicom command line, like this minicom -D /dev/ttyUSB2, this example does not seem to work as any at command, like at!entercnd="A710" returns the error message
I did this level of programming 30 years ago, so relearning.

I'm not sure what terminal tools are on the mofi, but you can get the AT commands for the Ec25AF direct from quectel.com or....

I always have better luck using minicom -s and setting the serial port via menu, over running it direct from the cli command
Try picocom too maybe

I use minicom on mine. Specifically, minicom -s then change the serial port to ttyUSB3. ttyUSB2 would also work, but that interface spits out a lot of lot of information here and there that can interrupt you while you're typing.
