Anyone Use Sprint (non Calyx)?

So, after AT&T has failed me, I've tried some other providers. T-mo isn't horrible but isn't cheap. A FirstNet sim didn't improve my results any. I used to have Sprint for phone service and I know the tower nearby has 100mbps service, but does it work to just hot swap a sim into a router/modem device? Obviously I need the APN and such but no issues or?
