Got some questions about 4x4 Mimo set up.
The first question is about antenna polarity. Done plenty of 2x2 Mimo antenna understand they need to 90 degrees apart. But when you are dealing with 4 of them can it be the same pattern twice like the picture shows below. OR do all four antenna have to be polarized to each of them in different quadrants?

The second question is could each of these be pointed to different towers? Or does 4x4 Mimo have to come from the same tower?

My assumption is that it would work best with one vertical, one horizontal, and the other 2 at +-45, and definitely all pointed at the same tower. From my limited understanding, all the different polarizations aren't a mandatory thing, it just helps to isolate the signals from each other without the need for as much physical separation..

Think you are talking about this. So the two sets are actually 45 degrees are apart not 90 degrees.

I was thinking more of 2 flat panel or parabolic 2x2 mimo antennas with one upright and one tilted 45deg, so a + and an x... With 4 single antennas it would be more like | - / \

I was talking flat panel or parabolic too. Just trying to define the planes of each single antenna within the two mimo set ups put together.
Even so with your single antennas put together you end up with 45 degrees between the two mimo set ups.

Ah, okay... Ant4 is out of position, then... It's on the same plane as 3 in the drawing.

Yes that is right was just working on fixing it.

Can anyone else please confirm this is right for 4X4 setup?

I have seen this, as well as all at 45 degrees. But that way you have there is likely to have less crosstalk.

Does anyone know how the 4X4 The Wireless Haven antenna is configured?

Cross polarized 45 degrees. The pairs match evenly if I recall. I can ask.

In the near future thinking of setting up 4 log periodic antennas for my T-Mobile Home internet. Think this is the way to try it still?
In the past always had mixed match antennas. One parabolic grid with two log periodic antennas. Which has worked well. Has kept my band 2 signal strong while still allowing me to connect to band N71. But always have had very poor N71 quality signals. Starting to wonder if having better quality signal might provide better performance than strong band 2 stats alone?

I think so, but it might be more optimal to stack in a dual V pattern 2 feet apart between V's

Doing it the way the diagram shows concerned how the horizontal log periodic antenna would drain moisture out of the plastic casing.

Wouldn't hurt to make a small hole in the case for this.

Seen online someone shows to the the Dual V in different directions.
Anyone know if this actually makes a difference or not?
Currently have both V's in same direction.
