Bought a Mofi4500 from Wifi Mate and thought I had 14 days to return NO RISK. Turns out they won't take it back and will only take tha SIM card back.
The Mofi is slow :(.
Any suggestions?

Hello
Looked at the WiFi mate website. Yes on fine print says 14 days on service only. Also says this is a Verizon service? Which is odd never see that.
So what signal are you getting? What band are you connected too. Do you have good Verizon service there at your home?

Only getting 1-2mbps on Mofi4500 but getting up.to 40-50mbps on my samsung 8 phone. Not consistent though. Mofi came set to AUTO. I locked in on all bands available and it didn't get any better. I think the bands are limited and I don't think it aggregates??

Try TTL 117.
Also is this the wifi or ethernet? Those we826 e routers are famous for having WiFi issues. Got to of them in use now with WiFi disabled and ethernet ran to another router.

Can't get a connection.
Apparently this mofi is not going to cut it. What equipment set up would you recommend going to?

What band is your phone using ? (use cell info lite app to determine) as long as it’s not band 66 you should be able to lock your mofi to that band also in the modem settings make sure to change it to Verizon/sprint mode don’t leave it on auto & in advance bandlock only check Verizon LTE bands in your area leave everything else unchecked(not selected)

The SIM card I have is Visible which uses the verizon network. Mofi has to set for visible.

Well if it is the Mofi with a sierra wireless mc7455 it doesn't have band 66.
Look at this link to The Wireless Haven under bands for this modem.

Assuming it has this modem, what would you suggest I do?
Replace it? With what?
Buy completely different modem/router set up?
