Hello,
So I'm trying to go the route of using a raspberry pi, but I can't seem to connect to the device. I hooked up an Ethernet cable, but the wireless network watcher application I'm using isn't showing the ip address for the pi. I also tried to connect using putty, but no success.

I'm following this video on installing openwrt on a pi(figured it would be similar to installing rooter).
This is what I've done so far:
-installed the rooter firmware for raspberry pi 3b+ from here: https://www.ofmodemsandmen.com/firmware16.html
-formatted sd card
-flashed firmware onto sd card
-plug in sd card, network card/usb adapter, and ethernet cable, and then turned the pi on

What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated into what I'm doing wrong.

Here is a list of items I'm using:
rasberry pi 3b+

Nevermind! Something must have went wrong when I was flashing the firmware. I just reflashed it and now I can connect
