WE826-T2 and heat

Post by radec »

hi all, sort of a random question/observation.

I have a m.2 to mini pcie adapter installed in my WE826-T2. This puts my sim card directly above the processor (at least I think it does, I could provide pictures). I didn't think much of it but today I had to pull my sim card out and sim card adapter and sim card are both slightly deformed. it looks like heat damage.

anyway has anyone noticed anything like this?

Most use the SIM Card slot on the router, and not the adapter.

Yeah, I think the adapters own SIM slot mostly gets used when there is no SIM slot in the device its being used in.
