inseego FG2000-3 5G connectivity question

Hi,

I need help with unlocked FG2000-3 model (UScellular) which arrived today. LTE is working but no 5G signal at all.

These bands are supported in my area and I can confirm they are working on iPhone.
n28 FDD 700 (NR_SA)
n78 TDD 3500 (NR_SA)

is there any way to make 5G work or should I return the device? any help would be much appreciated
