RM-502Q-AE stuck in a loop?

Hi all.

Trying to setup my RM502Q-AE modem using a Rpi4b and 5G hat. SIM is known good and carrier is Verizon.

I setup a modem connection profile in GoldenOrb using APN of vzwinternet but modem will just disappear...reconnect and repeat continually.
