Pepwave MAX BR2 Pro Dual

Post by BND10706 »

Hello,

My wife and I are going on the road in our RV and I needed reliable internet for my work ..teams calls etc. And I opted for getting the Pepwave Max BR2 Dual because I wanted to have the dual modem and bonding and the support of speed fusion.

I now need to get Cell plans for the device and wanted opinions on what to get.

My plan is to get one plab from Tmobile and one from Verizon.

I am nervous buying Tablet plans. I know I can modify the TTL and it SHOULD help, but it wont modify the IMEI, and im nervous that I will get shut down with something that i REALLY need to work....

Has anyone had success doing this?

You will need to take the modem out from the case and use a USB adapter to run AT command for it. If it is Sierra wireless modem, then probably it should work with AT command.

Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 (Sierra Wireless EM9191) is what the spec sheet says.

Just to update, the modems can definitely be taken out from the case and then you can run AT command on them using USB adapter.
