Budget Outdoor 4G/5G POE Router Project

Post by DeUndefined1 »

It's been so long. I wanted to try something new. Ill probably might make a future YouTube video soon about it. But I'm switching from the Sprint Mifi 8000 running on Human I-T (Mobile Citizen).
  • I will be using a cheap $15 enclosure that I've previously had bought from eBay as a 4G Antenna for this project. I'll have to gut the insides and leave only the mirror. However, since it was built to be a high gain antenna, I'll have to detune the system by cutting the mirror just enough and trim down some internal material inside the enclosure so that I can have enough room for the build.
    • I will be purchasing;
      1) RM510Q-GL Modem (Not the RM502Q-RM)
      2) Nanopi R4S Mini Router (Specifically the board)
      3) Netgear Nighthawk MK62 AX1800 Mesh Router (Indoors)
      4) Nano Sim Card Extender
      5) NGFF(M.2) to USB 3.0 Adapter
      6) 4 SMA (600-3800MHz) Cellular Omni-Directional Paddle Antennas
      7) Low Profile Adhesive Router PCB Mounting Pads
      8) 4 MHF4 Female to SMA Female Bulkhead (Straight) 5 Inch Cables
      9) RJ45 Waterproof IP67 Bulkhead Connector
      10) USB3.1 Type C Male to 2.1 MM x 5.5 MM Connector Adapter
      11) 48V to 5V 3A POE+ Gigabit Splitter - 5.5mm X 2.1mm Power Plug Tip
      12) Cudy POE200 30W Gigabit PoE Injector Adapter 13/100/1000Mbps RJ-45
      14) 1 100ft Cat 8 Ethernet RJ45 Cable
      15) L-Bracket Mount with U-bolt Hardware for Omni Donor Antenna
