Trying to use Ring Camera with Inseego M2000 and Sprint network

Post by mahboud »

Anyone have experience with this combination? Apparently the Ring cam doesn't like the fact that Sprint is encapsulating IPv4 inside of IPv6, and the M2000 has an IP address of 192.0.0.2, instead of something that is addressable normally.

I have no issues with my laptop or phones going over this combination to the Internet and I get really nice speeds too.

Things I have tried:

- setting the M200 to be LTE only and no 5G
- setting the Ring cam with a local M2000 IP address, and putting it on the DMZ (probably not helpful)
- turning off IPv6 for the local network (I can't seem to do that with the network up to Sprint, so this is not helpful)
- tried setting the APN to r.ispsn from x.ispsn. I lost some download speed when I did that but it didn't help the situation
- tried setting the APN to cinet.spcs from x.ispsn.
Anyone have any thoughts?
