I have a netgear LB2120 backed with a Unifi USG for router and i used to be able to bypass the 5MBs Visible hotspot throttle by changing the TTL on my USG. But that doesn't seem to work any longer (i've been using it in this format for a couple years).
I performed some low level tests, which used to work on a linux computer by adjusting the TTL and now that doesn't seem to work either...
Anyone else running into this? Or what am i missing?
Visible TTL Bypass not working?

Re: Visible TTL Bypass not working?
I wonder if your LB2120 updated and is modifying the TTL on the POST side. Can you query the TTL from a device not running off the USG to see if it is sending back the correct TTL through the LB2120?
Re: Visible TTL Bypass not working?
So the good news is that i reverted the firmware back on the USG to v4.4.52 and now the TTL adjustment works again... i guess i will have to keep an eye on that. Thanks for the assist!!
