WE826-T2 flashed and working, can I get help on performance tuning

After a slow start I have my WE826-T2 flashed and working. It is running Golden Orb with a Quectel and talking to ATT. I ultimately have plans to change to Verizon, but have not had a chance to activate service with them. I belkive ATT is aaccceptable for the time being, but there are more Verizon towers to ultimately have better performance. I am using the built in wifi on the router, but have plans to use the router as a pure access point and share the connection out over wifi and ethernet via a netgear router I have.

Currently, I have no idea if this is connecting in an deal way, or if positioning could improve tings, or what settings to change to improve things. Can someone point me in the right direction to get this tuned to the best performance possible?
