NOTES:
*Case designed and manufactured in the USA. All designs and custom software is US made and maintained. Hand assembled in the USA, in Tennessee.

*To clarify for all customers. The InvisaGig does not bypass carrier CGNAT (no device does without VPN use), so you typically may still experience a technical double NAT, as you will still have your local network NAT and your carriers CG level NAT. This can be bypassed with a public IP assignment to your SIM from your carrier, or sometimes via VPN service usage on your devices or router.

*Electronic PCB components are commodity items made overseas. There are no claims to otherwise. A completely US made PCB design is in the plan, but it will take time to release. The modems used in the InvisaGig product will likely always be from overseas (or soon Mexico) manufacture; until a US chip manufacturer begins making them.

Have used the Invisagig for about 2 month now.

    The good.
    1. Customer support, Richard is the absolute best. He talks to you at your level and never brushes off your silly questions.
    2. The Snapdragon X62 / X65 by Qualcomm is mature, stable and rock solid. I have not seen a so much as a hickup.
    3. The hardware “glue” design by Quectel has worked without flaw.
    4. The simple, straightforward, and functional command line interface is now mature, stable, and performs without glitch. Revisions are not neglected by Invisagig and are easy to install.
    5. Unseen parameters can be modified directly through the CLI. Again Richard is very helpful.
    6. This unit does exactly what the WirelessHaven claims it will do, no exaggerations on the companies part. For me it has been rock solid.
    7. A big upside is that the Invisagig is only a cellular modem. No router, wifi, and all the rest. Power it up and out come packets. That simple.

Although the unit is absolutely acceptable and definitely not a “cheap” build, I would have preferred a little tougher, higher quality build. There are some very nice extruded aluminum cases out there that would have been a significant enhancement over plastic. The Invisagig has a significant price tag and deserves a high quality enclosure system.

This is a positive endorsement and a recommendation to buy.

Relatively new to the world of 5G Home Internet. I have used 2 Stock T-mobile Gateways, 1 of the “Mesh+” type Gateways and the InvisaGig. Hands down, the InvisaGig is my preferred device. I like to think of it as having “everything you want and nothing you don’t”. Most other Units have Routers and Wifi built in and all I want is a Modem, this is that unit. Also being a novice in this space I didn’t want to have to remember AT command’s and with the Invisagig the Text based menu system is clean and straightforward. Also this is by far the best device I have used for Antenna aiming with the build in Signal meter feature. The Invisagig is paired happily with my UDM-SE and my Panel Antenna and gets a good 20-30% speed increase over the stock T-mobile gateway in my use case. Support is outstanding both from the Support team and the community.

I’m a bit new to this but after trying several other brands and models this just works. Excellent performance, easy setup and configuration. Just plug it into the router of your choice.

  4. Zac Seale (verified owner)

I have tried many, many router/modem combo’s over probably the past 5-6 years with varying degrees of results. My best results have been in a Linksys WR32X + USB3.0 Encl + Quectel 502 Modem. Great speeds, reliability, etc. There are inherently issues with this kind of setup: a) double NAT since most LTE routers have terrible wifi signal b) most people already have a decent wifi router c) I can’t fit my setup in an outdoor enclosure realistically, thus I have 25′ antenna cable runs which hurt signal, and are expensive.

This box gets slightly better speeds (prob due to modem), and no routing overhead, so no double NAT. My ER4 can do what it was meant to do, and I have less headaches. I also can now put this in an enclosure on the root and shorten my antenna cable runs, which should help speeds a tiny bit more.

All this being said, I’ve wanted a modem/passthrough device for years and this fits the bill exactly, and works wonderfully. All the settings and information you need at your fingertips. As mentioned there are always issues you need to think through but most of that information is easily gathered over at http://www.wirelessjoint.com.

This is hands down the best cellular modem device for me and that I have personally used. It fits my use case perfectly and it is top notch. Super simple to get it working the way that I want and to use any cellular plan. Without even making any adjustments or optimizations, it automatically increased my speeds by over 5x. Obviously everyone needs to do their own research, but this one is THE ONE for me. Thank you, Wireless Haven!

It’s simple and just works. Give me back control with my Wi-Fi router for VPN’s and other features that didn’t like double NAT with other cellular routers. Also decreases latency cause by double NAT so things are just faster.
