Yes, it was all the same. Re: ATT bands 3 and 11 active?

Those are some interesting screenshots. In the past, band 3 was overseas only. Band 11 is Japanese BUT I have heard that it may be coming (or already here?) to USA. If it were me, could not resist trying to lock onto each and see what the speeds are. Maybe some band guru's will enlighten us both wha...

If this is the same problem you reported here https://wirelessjoint.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&p=6000#p6000 I would follow @steveg advice and use the link provided. Had same issue after failed attempt when updating GoldenOrb. My WE826 was acting exactly as you describe. Took me 4-5 tries to get my t...

Re: Cba850 ATT issues..

You are in fact connected to Band 2 and CA Band 12, which should give pretty good results. Those were always the best bands for me. But, your signal levels do not look good, matter of fact they are considered poor. If you had better figures than shown in your image, something has changed. Water in a...

Using either the mc7455 and the em7511 using a sprint sim from venn mobile. It will work in att hotspot but it wont work with the generic firmware in either. I have spent many hours experimenting with Sprint MVNO and the em7455. Was never successful in getting connection. Not saying it is not possi...

My best test off my WG3526P with a Quectel EM30G inside via mpcie to m.2 adapter is 388Mbps. Test via LAN, speedtest.net test. Average top tests 365Mbps. Im currently saving up parts for a rpi4/em20g build In my eyes, that is excellent! Got to conserve my mad money, save a little extra up and try y...

Re: Custom Routerboard with M.2 Slot

This does not address your question directly, but If it were me doing this, would make it very simple. Use a https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/routers/lte-routers/we826-go-4g-lte-wifi-router/ Mount the WE826-GO LTE Router inside truck (I am assuming a big rig) where easily accessible. That is an old board now. I have an apu3c4 it runs openwrt well. I also ran the GO version with a cell modem in it seemed fine. The apu3c4 is the new LTE supported boards you could seem them here https://pcengines.ch/apu3c4.htm Maybe it needs a firmware update to coreboot although I don't think PC ...

Re: This a good router option for Tmobile?

Hello all, Currently use T-Mobile with a MC7455. 2 way carrier aggregation with band 2 and 12. Been thinking of upgrading myself at times to more powerful modem. So I called T-Mobile and asked what bands my local tower has? Was told it has bands 2, 3, 12, 71. Does anyone know what band 3 is? Not li...

I figured I could always improve on them by aiming my directional antennas when I get a usable SIM. From my tests using a t-mobile test drive hotspot SIM, the SIM will not work in any router (no matter where you buy the router) except one provided by t-mobile for the test drive. I even called t-mob...

Really hard to recommend anything when not sure of your terrain and environment (other than your description). One thing for sure: DO NOT use a splitter to combine two antennas into one port! LTE is not designed to operate like that and you will end up with very poor results. If you must a use ampli...

Have TTL set at 65 on my ATT plan. Not sure what you mean by "desired result", pretty wide term:)

On my we826 do not use built-in wifi, use ethernet to another wifi router and it also has TTL set for 65.

Sadly in my area, towers are really overloaded and 30 meg down is a good day...

Kind of sounded like a wooded area. Flat panels are better than highly directional (yagi) in your situation for sure. You might even try pointing them in other directions away from tower while watching your signal levels. Reflection is a mighty powerful thing in the LTE world. Just remember to "...
