Ive seen very often people show that boosters amp the signal AND noise up, causing no real benefit for cost, except maybe for the voice / talk part. But some swear by them.
Sounds like you need to look into getting yourself set up outdoors, and up high, with a weatherproof box and some antennas.

No info found on Sierras, but a few Quectels can lock onto specific cells on a tower, and you can list multiple in the commands.

Not bad really. Its not kicking in the CA there, but time will tell. It only shows Carrier Aggregation (CA) during load, it won't show it during normal idle traffic. Much of that depends on the cell tower equipment as well.

2x mimo means 2 antennas, 4x mimo means 4 antennas (both for LTE) , the other side of the "x" is a bit more complicated, but essentially means the number of channels open. Google what mimo is, its pretty interesting.

You also prob need to return your SIM card to its original device, a phone? And get it to communicate, then try the modem again.

What router is this in? Two things. 1: There is a variance in your main and aux antenna, not much but may need to look into the connectors and make sure nothing is loose or grounded slightly by touching mounting screws. 2: Your signal numbers are garbage. Heck, try even older r00ter firmware. Its got to be some oddity in that particular modems firmware version. Super weird.

Your outer 2 ports on the em20 are for your first two antennas, the inner 2 are for your 3rd and 4th antennas. The boosters seem to be great for some people to get cell signal to talk on. The boosters for LTE seem to be limited in effect and can cause a boost in noise as well, and tend to be narrow band. Usually from lack of power. Try a different power supply. I like to use a 2.5a or 3a power supply.

Are you testing speeds over wifi or LAN? I NEVER test speeds over wifi, and on this unit its like 1/3 as fast or worse. Always test over LAN. Just another update -- Mine has renewed twice. Still working fine. I believe this is more geared/targeted against high volume users. Haven't heard of anyone using less than 400GB getting canned yet. Guess we'll see. I try to keep mine below 300. Usually doable. Pre paid account or Post paid?

I wouldn't worry about device obsolescence on Sprint/Tmobile. The bands are frequencies.
