Ok If you are wanting to keep the T-Mobile plan and make it faster need to find the T-Mobile tower. Do you know it is? Can find it here. https://www.cellmapper.net/map?MCC=310&MNC=260&type=LTE&latitude=39.116023560813545&longitude=-85.26742582255285&zoom=11&showTowers=true&am...

Hello, When you say this is the only option you have do you mean cellular data or T-Mobile period? Who do you have this plan thru? Is it T-Mobile directly? Speeds are low but how low are we talking? That modem you have is a very low end one. Here is a video about your device. https://www.google.com/...

Hello,
Been using the WE826 routers. Know about the Wi-Fi issue with them. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. If someone really wanted a all in one unit router they could count on is the WG3526 a good choice?

I have noticed allot of data resellers are switching from AT&T to T-Mobile. Does anyone have an idea of what T-Mobile plan they are reselling? Would need to be something that doesn't require TTL setting. Is there something comparable to that old AT&T ipad plan on T-Mobile?

No the EC25-AF doesn't support carrier aggregation. It performed very well on one band in my opinion. It even worked with my Verizon Sim card from my phone. And it has never worked in anything but worked on this thing. If you want 2 band Carrier aggregation go with the EP06-A.

Re: WE 826-GO / Sierra EM7565 CAT-12 and Visible
According to this video Apple phones can hot spot more than this. Says apple wouldn't agree to change so will connect 5 devices at once.

Start listening at about 5:40 into video for that part of it.
Don't know if this helps or not but just passing it along.

Re: WE826 with MC7455
It was completely dead. Wouldn't fit in phone it is a full size SIM. Bought new SIM and they activated it and up and running again. Had similar issue in the past with another provider that sells AT&T data. Does anyone know why this happens? Think about it. Will have the same SIM in a smart phone...

Re: WE826 with MC7455
Well did the ole switcheroo. Put known working sim into the router with exact same service provider and bam it works. So it is a card issue. Now to convince the provider of this. This is a legit unlimited hotspot plan. No TTL stuff needed here. So card should be working.

Re: WE 826-GO / Sierra EM7565 CAT-12 and Visible
Hello, Have a few questions. 1. Was wanting to know if you used a TTL setting to get the faster speeds now. Ping 119 Download 16.79 Upload 2.26 2. Also was wondering would a VPN block that it is used in a router? Don't know much about VPN. 3. Would a VPN cause even higher pings since it is another s...

Yes service is paid for like the first thing had them check. Have had that happen before where the auto pay didn't go thru. Can't get over there today have prior arrangements. Wondering if it being so cold has anything to do with it? It is a in an outside enclosure a legit one. Is there anyone that ...

Powered it on and off already. Didn't remove the Sim. It is a AT&T reseller. Contacted them they said all is good on their end.

Could set TTL on windows computer to 64 to see if that makes it work on the computer. If it works on computer after that will know that is the issue.

Hello.
If you read visible website it says hotspot capped at 5 down. Are you sure this isn't a TTL issue? Heard in the past that Verizon needed TTL of 117. This is technically Verizon. And I think high pings are just par for the course with Visible.

Advantage of having an access point and not router connected to your modem every time you decide to change something.

Re: advice needed - newbie
Hello, With the WE826 if it didn't serve you as a router you can disable it and use an access point inside the home. This what I ended up doing after allot of changes. It is the way to go in my opinion. Reason why is once you start down this road you will find yourself turning it into a hobby and al...

Yes I think you are right about the overseas thing, read it too. I want to put this on the ports we use here in the US. Just to eliminate those terrible ts9 ports that cause me issues with connectivity. In my opinion this is the largest down fall of the Nighthawk M1.

Well aware of the risks that it could ruin it. It is a used unlocked one from ebay. Learned when it comes to the LTE game have to be willing to loose money and time. There is no definite answers to nothing. If it does work don't care if it is ugly. Will end up in an enclosure or the attic anyway bei...

Re: NetGear NightHawk M1 Inside Antenna Ports
Well was thinking of just soldering on the ms-156 right to the ports shown in the picture above. If they are a close match to the antenna port. Then drill holes in the top face for the 90 to reach down to it.
Kind of like this picture shown here. You think this is possible?

Hello,
I am learning as well. Sorry didn't know that the MC7455 AT commands where different than what you had. Just done that myself and it had worked. Understand being frustrated with this stuff. Always listen to Jim over others when conflicting info. Good Luck

Hello again,
So looking at this again to possibly solder on some sma connectors to get better connection than ts9 ports. Is this the adapter you think could possible be used?

Re: NetGear NightHawk M1 Inside Antenna Ports
Ok So trying to get more performance on T-Mobile band 2 and 12. Connecting to these won't help me then? Nothing to gain having 4 antennas? Do you think I could solder some wires on the two other ports? The normal ones. Reason to do this just so don't have to deal with the flakey TS9 ports. Thinking ...

Well I am paying $95 for T-Mobile plan unlimited hotspot and HD video streaming. TV picture looks great!
When I look at simple mobile this is what i see. How do you get around the 480p streaming?

Re: WE 826-GO / Sierra EM7565 CAT-12 and Visible
I have a WE826 with MC7455 and just use an Ethernet cable to send the at commands to it.
Go to MODEM > MISCELLANEOUS > AT-COMMAND TERMINAL to send AT commands.
Send them one at a time waiting for response. Will say ok each time when it is successful.
