I suspect that the Netgear MR1100 may have some sort of DoS attack hitting it, but without a log file, it's only an idea. Your M1 does not have any denial of service attacking it. I have firmware for it, I did not make it, a friend put it together and I was asked by them not to make it public, custom firmware for this one will be difficult until an sdx55 loader can be patched successfully or the broken boot chain can be repaired that is caused by loading a binary file.

your screen should be purple after loading the generic build and not blue anymore, sounds to me like it did not load or maybe got sent by fdt but did not unpack and install properly, or maybe did not pass the integrity check.

No that type of load does not use FDT, it uses a patched loader instead that would look something like ENPRG9x55.mbn &/or NPRG9x55.mbn the E for emergency (9008), the N for normal or dl mode(900E), or similar, it is a binary file sent to the device that handshakes it and tells it to get ready to...

That spk you have for it cannot be used in a byte by byte type of load. why dont you try to look around for a different spk for it, there are some out there on the web, you can use the AUS or NAS on it also.

It can mean alot of things depending on what device you are refering it to.
in this case it is the diagnostic monitor port, the one you use to send "DM" commands to.
in other devices it can mean digital media port or download mode port or any of several other tags.

You can use the below command to set N66 only for slot 5
I don't think your mr5100 can see N60
AT!BAND=05,"5G_N66",0,0,0,0000000000000002,0,0
You don't have to have all the 0 in front of the 2 but it will load either way.
This is likely the same cmd dc is running

Did you not read the above post?
If you are not willing to do a little searching and learning I would suggest you hire someone to do it for you because like I said there is no public firmware out there to recover this device if you bork it.

Re: Verizon LTE Home Internet Throttling
I am not familiar with this device, I have not had or worked on it before yet, do you have it apart yet? They usually have a USB port hiding inside as well as a sim card, it's a drag you have to take some of these apart just to get to all that, but to make it look like a phone at a minimum you need ...

thank you for the info Rich Hathaway would swicwe work in converting Netgear Nighthawk Mobile router firmwares from CWE to SPK? and would it be safe to use this converted file to do manual updates? Re: Netgear MR1100 att firmware to unbranded
spk files are a combined nvu (carrier config files)/cwe (signaling firmware) file, Sierra prefers to push spk files out because it means there is some control for peeps not to pair them incorrectly which causes bricks. If you have nvu/cwe files you can create an spk using swicwe, which is only Linux...

Its telling you what is wrong, your port is not available, if it does not have a port how can it load your device? I assume this means your pc is not loading the driver for it, or it could be the device has a damaged usb port, or maybe you are using a charge-only cable, you will have to figure this ...

FDT will automatically search the folder it is called from without the -f option, that option specifies the name of the file in case you have changed it or something, if it is not located in there you can specify the folder with -fd [folder to firmware images]. The problem is likely he does not have...

Send you a link to what? if you mean the firmware it is on the web so you don't need me to send you a link to it, do some searching of your own you will find it. If it will go into download mode by holding power with the battery out and hold it while you plug the usb cable in and keep holding power until it shows downloading on the screen, then use one of the spk's to reload it via ftd.

Re: Netgear MR1100 att firmware to unbranded
It does not matter which one you have, if it needs to be recovered and it won't take an spk, you need to load it from 9008 mode and unless you have the raw firm (not spk) you won't be able to do it, you can unpack that spk with some older sierra tools and possibly recover it this way, it would be he...

Re: Netgear MR1100 att firmware to unbranded
If your device wont take the firmware in spk form via fdt it would have to be loaded from 0 with a byte by byte type of load from emergency mode.
This is only possible if you have the proper firmware and patched loader (ENPRG9x55).

Thanks for the kind words, not sure how true they are though, lol. for one, you need to quickly send the !boothold cmd and then send !QPSTDLOAD cmd in succession and quickly or they wont work, another way you can keep fdt from aborting for whatever reason it is, in your case the 82 code is modem not...
