WE826 | WG3526 | WE3926 | WE1326 | WE1026 - Flashing the Firmware

This tutorial will demonstrate the process of flashing the firmware on the WE826-T router. The procedure is the same for other WE | WG LTE routers with the only difference is selecting the correct firmware for the router. The WE|WG series of routers are loaded with OpenWRT firmware. Some users may f...

Windows 7 - Unidentified Network Errors

I seem to do more than my share of building and configuring different routers. And, there are times when connected via Window's PC to a router LAN port via Ethernet cable, I get the Unidentified Network Error. I may still be able to access the router via WiFi, but not via LAN port. Generally a reboo...

Re: 2 Provider Bonded Setup for Newbie

Thanks! Other than the case, what is the difference between the WE826 and WE3926? I do not believe there is any difference other than the case. The WE3926 is new and there is not a GoldenOrb | ROOter firmware out for it yet. However, the WE826 firmware works without flaw (except it shows the device...

Re: 2 Provider Bonded Setup for Newbie

Most are using the Sierra Wireless MC7455 for custom builds. They will accept a lot of configurations to include locking bands.

A lot of builders use the MC7455 with our WE|WG line of LTE routers. There is a tutorial for building the WG3526-P.

Re: 2 Provider Bonded Setup for Newbie

Issue #1 (stay on band 4) I just ordered a 1700-2700MHz 15dBi 4G LTE MIMO Directional Antenna from the Wireless Joint store, with the thought that this would force the modem to stay on band 4 by cutting out the band 12 frequencies, and giving a stronger band 4 signal with the higher gain. **Is this...

WG3526 - Configuring for PoE Installations

The WG3526-P LTE Router is designed to accommodate PoE installations (i.e., the attic, outdoors in an LTE antenna/enclosure, etc.). The WG3526-P may be powered using a 48 Volt 35W-100W Gigabit Power over Ethernet POE injector, as well as its standard 12 Volt DC 2.5 Amp power adapter that comes with ...

Re: Question about ping

The Ping measures the delay (latency) in milliseconds that it takes a device (i.e., a PC, TV, game box) to connect to the internet. When using LTE as an internet source, a good LTE antenna plays an important role in optimizing the ping. With that said, however, an antenna is not the only factor to c...

Re: Think I might have a Bad SIM Card

It does sound the SIM card is bad since the hotspot cannot read the phone number. They can be finicky at times. You may try removing the SIM card and cleaning its surface with an alcohol pad. And try it again the hotspot. If you get no response from PC's for People, then you might consider ordering ...
