Usually changing APN isn't the best idea. The router firmware is dated, I believe there is newer firmware available. Try not to test "speeds" via wifi, many goldenorb based/capable LTE routers have abysmal wifi speeds and really shouldnt be the benchmark for how fast your router is. I thin...

Maybe I missed it, but are you locking onto one band?
I can help with finding antennas if you need
You have a good modem. Make sure your powering the enclosure with the aux power port as well, just in case your router isnt ouputting power very well.

It all comes down to compatability. Your host device needs to have the drivers for the usb modem in order to use it. You might have success messaging the ASUS support about it.
There may be workarounds. I myself dont have experience with your cradlepoint or the asus

I might have something for you.
But just to concentrate on one thing. Please give a clear explanation of exactly what happens when you boot up after a fresh flash AND what is it that makes it stop working?
Im collecting that it seems to NOT be saving your parameter changes after a reboot.

Re: WiFiX NEXQ6GO Cellular Router Configuration
So your NEXQ6GO can be used to lock to cell bands, BUT unlike some routers and hotspots, you have to also buy the modem to go inside. This will determine the bands you can access and which commands it will take to set the band lock. What bands do you need? And what services would you like to have av...

Re: T-Mobile Unlimited Data?
I just assembled my solution for T-Mobile few days ago (prepaid unlimited 50$ plan). At current set up I get up to 25Mbs both ways (I expect it to go up when I bring antenna up to the roof). However seems like I get throttled periodically and speeds go all the way down to 100Kbs (it recovers after ...

Re: Best AT&T Provider
Well I initially responded to that other thread but figured it might be best to start my own instead. So you are saying that I can take the SIM from that plan and put it in a custom modem that I build? Surely there's data caps or throttling going on with a plan that cheap. I don't know what you do ...

You asked this on another thread, but Ill leave this one too.
ATT is the best provider for ATT.
The POST paid ATT ipad unlimited plan is the best deal going. I think its $20 a month.

Re: ISP wants a MOFI4500-4GXELTE-SIM4_COMBO...alternatives?
I would love some suggestions on Ubifi alternatives. A new AT&T tower just went up 1.1 miles away so I'm looking at switching from Verizon over to a AT&T service. I thought Ubifi was the way to go but after looking through the forum I'm seeing a lot of people say $99 is overpriced! ATT will...
