LTE will always have bandwidth limitations even with multiple CA's. To get truly high speeds, we'll just have to wait a few years till 5G modem prices come down in the 2 to 3 hundred range, or tether some cheap/used/cracked screen 5G phone in the meantime. ;D

You can extend the mobile router's ethernet or usb port, it's a matter of personal preference. Re: Poor man load balancing on Windows
Actually, https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/ is the great place all together, highly recommended 8-) I've been using many of Nirsoft's utilities over the years, one of my favorite is FastResolver, which lists all the IP assignments on your network... really useful for those elusive dynamic IP's. https:...

Re: Router /Modem Issue
Either ATT has restricted your usage due to their silly TOS, or the DNS is corrupted on your pc. Can't do much about the former, but you could try clearing your DNS cache by copy and pasting each line below one at time into a CMD window (don't worry if you get an error on some of them), then restart...

Re: PagePlus+Jetpack
I do already have a SimpleMobile SIM card. It was from an experiment to see if a Tmobile plan can be activated on these cheap $1 SimpleMobile SIM cards (for some reason, still not understood by me, they can't) I barely reach 120GB/month combined. Of that, ~20GB of voip/zoom traffic goes over the iP...

Re: Carrier Aggregation on the Quectel EM20G
Is there an AT command to choose the primary band for carrier aggregation ? When ever I put in an AT command for multiple bands it usually selects band 13 as the primary and aggregates with either band 4 or 66 ...the issue with this is the performance is way better when it’s on either band 66 or 4 ...

Anybody willing to post new images of the Chinese screens to upload goldenorb from recovery mode on zbt router I've noticed that the latest version WG3526 bootloader, no longer requires the IP to be set to a specific value on the pc. Re: WG3526 Broken Sim Card Slot
I have SImpleMobile running in a WG3526 inside of a 700-2700MHz WiFi 4G LTE 8dBi Directional MIMO Antenna (± 45°) RJ45 Connector. Today while actively using the internet it stopped working. I opened up the antenna and the sim card no longer locks in place. I have it taped down and it seems to be wo...

Re: 3G/4G/LTE - Wifi Antenna Suggestions
Two things to consider. 1. If the case is made of metal, then you would definitely need to have it open for the signal be received/transmitted. 2. If it's made of plastic, then it would work with internal antennas, as long as you stand the case on it's bottom edge, because the antennas have to be ve...

Re: T-Mobile unlimited home internet.
Tmo's Home Internet is targeted for remote areas only, in order to fully utilize their tower's unused bandwidth. There's a reason why they say "What is T-Mobile Home Internet? T-Mobile Home Internet is a new offering from T-Mobile, available at certain addresses in limited areas." It's not...

Hi...I'm not finding a documentation which shows the LM960 has B71? Was there an updated one floating around? Update: Sorry I see it. Just no CA with it. According to the Telit LM960/LM960A18 hardware manuals, the standard LM960 version has limited CA capabilities, however the LM960A18 version can ...

Interesting app, unfortunately true channel bonding can only be done through an ISP or VPN server.. Nonetheless with the proper settings, one can set certain traffic to go through one or the other data "pipe", dividing and making data/channel usage more efficient.

Tried the AT command to change modes got this error = Can't open device /dev/ttyUSB. When you say external modem adapter/enclosure you mean one of these? Enclosure.PNG Yes, that enclosure should work to reflash the modem. However, you could try this emergency method if you're feeling adventurous. ;...

I would appreciate an amazon link for that. The cheapest TMobile SIM I can find is $9. Again..... my pain will be greatly increased if the modem got fried; however, I don’t have the energy nor the will to find out tonight if the modem is lost as well. Your modem is probably fine, there are circuit protections built into both the router's and the modem's bus. On second thought, you mi...

Sad to inform that today the router stopped working all together. It just died overnight. When I woke up today it was off. I checked the surge protector and it was working. I, then, checked the power supply and it was working. I did not have time to troubleshoot any more this morning. I came back t...

Two suggestions... Try sending the commands below to change modes. If the modem is still unresponsive, then you will have to reflash it in an external modem adapter/enclosure (cannot flash it inside a router) with the firmware below. AT+QCFG="usbnet",0 < QMI/PPP/Default AT+QCFG="usbne...

I am convinced it is the hot air for sure. Not sure what this is really? A Peltier junction cooler is an active solid state electronic cooler which draws heat away from the surface it's attached to, unlike passive air cooling which can only cool it as low as the ambient room/attic temperature. They...
