Why would you take the lock off? Might fry something not finished terminating or hurt someone that isnt smart enough to check before starting their work. Might be a show though.

With no other changes, I agree its likely a change on your tower (weather or some other damage likely). You can call in a trouble ticket for it and have your tower checked. Ive never done it myself, but Ive heward of people getting things checked out that way.

Signal cam bounce off metal buildings very very well. I thought I was getting my signal from the rear of my house, then when mounting my antenna on the roof I found it was actually just bouncing off the shoo behind my house back to it. Just dont be like me and try to put the SIM card in the SD card slot on the back for 10 minutes trying to insert it in the dern thing, instead of the side of it where it even says "SIM Card". LoL!

Even without the SIM card installed, you can go ahead and flash the routers firmware and set the APN and timezone settings.
Remember to unchecked the box next to Keep Settings when the dealio bobber has it before hitting the final "ok" to upload the firmware.

I used to be a victim, but I had zero Idea of the options available. That was prob 4 years ago now. They are crazy high with some of it, and they have lost provider accounts in the past screwing their customers

I cant say Im super experienced here, but do you have a public ip from ATT? Sometimes you can request one for a few bucks more per month, though Im not familiar with ATTs offerings.

Just to beat the dead horse, make fully CERTAIN the SIM is completely flush in the adapter, with no bumps on the edges. Also, what device is your hotspot? Try swapping APN numbers for giggles. It maxxed my signal strength solidly. My speeds were decent before, but now theyre effectively double, sometimes up to 100Mbps (Down) on tests with fairly responsive ping times.

The Sierra wireless modem module can act as a generic modem that the wireless networks will accept if setup properly. Thanks! This definitely helped boost my signal strength; once I figured out where my primary cell tower was so I could point at it properly. The feet for the router board, the weatherproof LAN plug, and all mounting hardware comes with the antenna. The Wireless Haven stocks the PoE power adapters .

So that we know where to place our router board, inside the case, we need to mark out where the antenna ports are and a rough center point between.
