If you are using AT&T for data, the APN is most likely:

You will need to do a power off/power on reboot after changing the APN in the connection profile.

This is what I would recommend.

Once it has updated, log into the router, and use the Web UI to update the router a second time with the WiFiX firmware.

Re: WE826go with mc7455

While I agree this is most likely a network/service related issue,

Code: Select all

GMM (PS) state:DEREGISTERED PLMN SEARCH
MM (CS) state: IDLE PLMN SEARCH

I would first run though each set carefully in the TROUBLESHOOTING guide to help eliminate the obvious.

Re: When are guy wires needed?

Rather than guy wires, you may want to use a support bracket from the roof to the mask. I remember seeing these on eBay, and with only a quick search, maybe something like THIS that hooks to the mask like THIS.

We have a large number of guys on the LTE HACK Facebook group using the M1 who can most likely walk you though the process.

Re: CBA850 Tweaking / Performance

You might try using a long Satellite J Mask/Pipe mount. You can find them on eBay (example) and they are pretty adaptable.

They also have them in a tripod, which mounts directly on the roof.

Example of using the J Mask mount:

I am not sure which ones it uses. I would think the U.FL but I could be wrong.

Re: WE826-T2 & MC7455 not playing nice

Is the circled what's causing the carrier miss-match? On the first line is shows 2.32.11_00_ATT_XXXX and the line below is shows 02.20.03.00_00_GENERIC_XXXX Yes, that is not what the carrier PRI is supposed to look like. It should have a PRI Part number. This is an example I just pulled on a Cradle...

Hopefully, he can shed some light on which modem you have and can offer a swap.

It is often more expensive when buying thru China in an attempt to save a few dollars.

Re: WE826-T2 & MC7455 not playing nice

I am not sure what is causing it. But there is something wrong or corrupt in its configuration. You might try flashing it with older GENERIC firmware (twice) and then try the newer one. Other than that, I do not have a clue how to repair it. You may have to contact whoever sold you the modem, and as...
