CA is determined by the tower as to when and if its implemented. The modem has specific combinations thats are allowed for CA. My modem EP06-A allows CA of 66 to 66 so I simply locked my band to 66 only. Mind you this solution is customized to my setup. Band 66 may not be the best band in your area....

850 is verizon band 5 which is a valid option, 1900 is band 2 (i think both up and down though not sure) also a valid option on verizon. That said the more popular bands seem to be 4,13 and 66

I have that exact combination and have been running on verizon for almost a year.Before you ask the plan I am on was ONLY for 55+ and is no longer being offered.

i am not sure which ones use the openvpn standard. I saw @gscheb say to try this in another thread: This was for hotspot with a tethered phone but i wonder if it would help in your case as well. I would agree I used visible for a little while but ended up with my long term solution being with verizon directly

if I remember to activate a sim for visible it must be installed into a "vsible approved device" aka one of the devices listed on their certified list. Luskily when I was messing with it I had an old original generation pixel xl which just happens to be on their approved list. i have seen ...

I would searh on how to setup a vpn on openwrt and see how close the instructions are to your menu layout and all. I would bet it is almost identical since its all based on openwrt to begin with

On the left click on modem and choose connection profile In the APN field type in VSBLINTERNET then go to network and firewall and across the top pick custom ttl settings change ttl value to 64. streaming things like netflix and the like in my expierence will work fine with as little as 10meg as they cache heavily. 10 is about my lowpoint in my setup as stated earlier I can get up to 30 but even at 10 I can typically have 2 streams going through roku's and sometimes even play a YouTube all ...
