not really sure will leave that to others that are smarter then me.

I do know however that a vpn, even expressvpn (one of the best) will eat up anywhere from 20%-40% of your available bandwidth in overhead for encryption

Probably easiest to just load up a vpn on a computer that uses the router for internet. To answer your next question, Proton vpn is a FREE vpn I use to test things like this. For a long term solution I would never use a FREE vpn but for testing its fine.

I always get higher in morning... like you i can see up to 30 in morning till about 10am or so but much less at lets say at 8pm - 11pm sometimes as low as 10 or so. Well to give you a comparison my signal strength is between 40% and 50% download is anywhere from 13 - 30 and upload is usually about 2 - 4 with a latency of 30s to 40s This is with dual antennas meticously aimed on the roof. If all the sim information is showing up aka phone number and imei and the sim works properly in another device it means for some reason the visible is rejecting the sim when in your router. Did you activate the visible sim in a compatable phone first and make sure that phone had internet.
You must activate it in a phone first or it wont connect

if its not connecting that is almost always 1 of 2 things:
Something with the SIM card... not installed right (physical issue) or not activated correctly
or
You are using an incorrect apn for your provider

Is the sim information showing up or is it all blank?

In the old days a few phones had antenna jacks in them that you could hook a passive antenna into but I havent seen anything like that for years and that was just for making calls.

Even simplier then that what is your sinr? The booster will boost EVERYTHING including noise so you may infact just have a very strong very noisy signal. 400k will still make a reasonable phone call but as you noted makes for horrible downloads.

For visible you need to find a device to actuvate the sim in first. I used my old pixel xl phone. Once activated you can then slip that sim into your router and use it without issues. At one point visible even gave you a free phone and you could use that to activate the sim

it shows 6 antennas but 4 of them are used for wifi. Only 2 actually have to do with the cell signal. Also I wouldnt assume anything about your signal. I only glimpsed through this thead but with a signal that strong could you be over driving the signal? If your using any kind of antennas other then just the generic whip style, as a test only, I would try running with just 2 or 4 whip antennas (didnt see if you were 2x2 or 4x4. I havent read through all the posts here but have you tried locking to just one band? If it is a congestion issue some bands get more congested then others.

You might be right, I thought they used to do this. I would send them an email and ask if you bought a router and a modem and all if they could configure it all for you.

Actually decided to start with the opposite. Locked to 13 only. I dont really like this option much as there is no ca with this method but it has by far the strongest signal, rssi -65, rscp -94 and ecio (RSRQ) is -14 to -15. Agree with gscheb, fresh start all the way
the mofi hardware really isnt that great anyway much better to build your own or have letfix build it up for you
