For anyone who checks this in the future -- I reflashed the router. No change as far as the modem was concerned. I pulled the modem and tried connecting it to my Windows 10 PC with a USB adapter so I could flash new firmware on it. So far, no luck with that. Not sure yet if I'm doing something wron...

Re: New to this stuff, have some questions
Unless there is a special reason for a custom build router (i.e., to change the TTL), I would use any existing router with a good dual band WiFi behind the CBA850LP6. That, or an Access Point. If I needed a custom build, I would look at the routers that are support by GoldenOrb , and build one that ...

Re: New to this stuff, have some questions
Hmm, it looks like the MBR1400LPE wouldn't support carrier aggregation right? I would like to take advantage of that if I can. I can get band 5 and 13 out here on verizon. Band 5 is definitely the stronger one. That is correct. To take advantage of Carrier Aggregation it would take the MC400LP6 mod...

The EM20-G is capable of receiving 4 x 4 MIMO which is why it has 4 antenna connector ports on the modem which requires 4 cellular antennas.
It has nothing to do with the 2.4/5GHz WiFi.

Re: WE826 | WG3526 | WE3926 | WE1326 | WE1026 - Firmware Recovery Mode
Hi Jim, which supplier do you special order the WiFiX version from? Is it Shenzhen Zhibotong Electronics co. ltd? I would like to order one or multiple units with that firmware but the chinese suppliers are so un-caring about my requests! They insist it can only come with their original firmware. C...

Re: Deregistered status
I made a long post detailing how I had the same issue happen to me but it was removed. I'm guessing because I mentioned I got shipped 2 we826 with bad SMA cables on the inside of the box. Nope. We do not remove posts unless they are inappropriate or violate the rules of the forum. If you will notic...

Re: fine tuning
If the above stats is from the MIMO antenna, it is showing the primary as Band 30 (at 10 MHz of bandwidth) and the secondary band as 12 at 10MHz). These may or may not be the best bands to use at your location. The signal stats look good although your RSRQ (quality of the signal) is a little low whi...

The first thing I would do is disable Connection Monitor if it is enabled. Looks from the log it is: Connection Monitor: Start Connection Monitor for Modem 1 If you will look under Services tab, you will see The Wireless Haven Ping. Enable that and SAVE. Then, do a hard (power off/power on) reboot.

Hi, Thanks for the info. I will try it. I just have not had much success getting this onto my AT&T prepaid sim but it works fine in a cheap $40 at&t phone. I had already ordered a usb to mini pci-e adapter again to replace the crappy one I got last week and sent back. Ill play with this a b...

Re: Reflash MC7455-CP from we826-t2?
Do you have more info on how to expose the modem ports to he pc while mounted inside the router? Would you connect the router's usb port to the pc? Thanks. I do not know the specifics as I have never performed the process. I believe it is done by placing the firmware in the temp file of the router,...

Set Connection Modes AT+QCFG="usbnet",0 - QMI/PPP/Default AT+QCFG="usbnet",1 - ECM AT+QCFG="usbnet",2 - MBIM Caution should always be exercised when changing the composition of a modem. Note that people have reported losing their Modem WAN port for AT Commands on the E...

Re: Connection Logs question
The WiFi on these units are less than desired and seem to work best (at least for me) with the default settings that WiFiX firmware provides.
I will make the same recommendation as this POST which should correct the WiFi

1. Disable the connection manager in the profile if enabled.
2. What AMP power adapter are you using?
