Re: Speeds: Verizon iPad Unlimited SIM vs. MVNO

codingparadox How much data do you need? If you have a tax ID number you could try to go into the carriers store and see if you can get a Business plan. I had a 100Gig/$100 plan with ATT and got 60Mbs down. I stopped that plan, it was too rich for my needs T-Mobile and ATT both now have a 100Gig/$50...

Re: QUECTEL EM160R-GL cant see the sim phone number

It’s a long shot but try to remove the SIM, & do a HARD factory rest.
Let the router boot up without the SIM, then power down, install the SIM and hope for the best.

Re: EM7411 w/ Band 7411 worth it?

FYI
T-Mobile has band 71 4G and
n71 5G they are both using 600MHz

T-Mobile Band n41 is the faster 5G

n71 is 5G low band
n41 is 5G mid band

In a rural setting 600MHz is your friend
Not the fastest but gets the job done

Re: Gl-inet 750 on AT&T SIM not registered

Thanks for the clues. :D I have been able to get my phone SIM to work in a modem (broadband') but not the one from my iPad. The iPad SIM has a Apple logo on it so I had low hopes that was going to work. I phone SIM only has 22Gig of "Hot Spot" Data. and the end oy my bill cycle I wi...

Re: Gl-inet 750 on AT&T SIM not registered

What carrier are you trying to use? Has hard as you are trying to get onto the network the carriers and also working to keep you OFF, sad but true! The carriers sell phones and tablets and let them on to the network. That is their business plan. :( The IMEI number tells the carriers what type of equ...

Re: EM12-G / NEXQ6GO-M capped at 22-25mbps?

Found your problem. Looks like you are using a type-N, WiFi or WiFi-4. If you feel the need.... the need for speed ....LoL ...you will need to up your hardware game to WiFi-6 WiFi is sexy, but if you need to do a Zoom call, would use a good old CAT cable. WiFi is half duplex, half as fast as a cable...

Here is another example.

This guy used the BIG guns

Would start out small and simple and hardware as needed
The only hard part is the SIM/Data Plan
Some have had luck with getting a data only plan for an iPad

Re: Visible wireless hotspot throttling 'fix'?

Welcome ericfx1984 Both Didneywhorl and Adm1jtg have given excellent advice. The only thing I can add is you may want to get the WG3526 with the PoE option. Part number WG3526-P, this would give you the option to use power over ethernet. This would allow to put the WG3526-P in an enclosure and be ab...

Sorry for the confusion, and getting off topic Every setup is different with different challenges. Would list your goals and budget, start out small and build / change your hardware as needed. The hardest thing is the SIM/Data plan A lot of this is trial and error, don’t be afraid to fail. You can d...

Re: Need a modem for Verizon Jetpack pUDP

The AC to DC converter (Wall Brick) is a switching power supply and they can
radiate large levels of EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) especially one’s made in china.

Putting a noise source in an enclosure with sensitive electronics is not the best solution. :ugeek:
