in my experience, you can get visible working on anything with the proper radios onboard as long as you are able to choose or manually edit the APN since it's only using LTE.
there are many routers that work, many network adapters for laptops that you can stuff the SIM into and set the APN manually ...

I've run that Cradlepoint on VZ. If you can buy / borrow a cheap VZ hotspot, then get a sim for it, and then sim swap to the Cradlepoint. It will work just fine.

Visible is using more than TTL alone, I only buy used modems from devices the manufacturer has
had authorized on the nerworks (i.e. laptops/cradlepoint etc.) & of course generic firmware.

@gscheb. In the CradlePoint I see the option for IP or IP4v6 only, for the APN settings. Does that mean I should set it to the IP4V6, or does that mean ... not compatible? So many modem and types it's hard to tell what each modem supports. Add the fact that the Visible network seems to be not as well know.

If Verizon has been working well, then you may try Visible. You will need a WiFi router that allows changing the TTL.

Do a search on the forum for Visible Cradlepoint and read up on what members are doing.

I've had Visible for 3 months now and have one phone tethered to my desktop and have downloaded nearly a terabyte of data so far. We use our daily phones to hotspot to our TV's and watch TV with no issues, Netflix & Prime. ect.

Recent pickup a Cradlepoint CBB850. Apply the Visible APN setting and the setting works. After upgraded the firmware to LP6 Verizon 02.30.01.01 02.30.01.01_VERIZON_002.052_000 , the modem will not connect to Visible APN : VSBLINTERNET.

Interesting... so that means that data will work on any device but not voice. Looks like Visible's app must be running for voice calls (most likely using VoIP), thus the countless complaints about voice quality in the PlayStore.

Yes they do say you can't put out in router but you can. Just have to configure it for it. You have to put it in phone first with the app to activate it. Then configure hotspot / router for it. That is what I did for my uncle. He is using it with a nighthawk M1. Now yes in it you are still ...
