Is it just losing connection, or is the modem rebooting/resetting? Re: ZBT WG3526 LTE Router Quectel EM06-A, should I buy?

Hello, Currently using this set up. Like the Quectel modems. No the modem is not an upgrade from the MC7455. The router is due to it has better lan port and can get downloads out of the lan ports exceeding 100 down. But if you are not getting connection that is exceeding 100 down then no there woul...

ZBT WG3526 LTE Router Quectel EM06-A, should I buy?

An associate of mine, three states away has one of these he bought of the internet, and has been running an AT&T sim in it, for around 6 months. He knows even less than I-lol But he just got high speed cable, and asked me if I was interested. I think it will run Verizon, as that is the sim I'm n...

Re: WE826-T2 MC7455 using (hotspot) data

Hello fellow testers. I was asked by a (few)ha ha, and share what it took to fix my router using hotspot data. Running a WE826 T2, with a Post Paid Verizon unlimited Tablet plan. 2-Tablets, 50% discount—so around $8.50@ month. Just a quick history, I put this into service around March of 2019, and i...

Wow, sorry. Did not mean anything, just a simple joke and trying to help. Looks like I cannot help, will stand down and allow you to get the help you need. Sorry. The internet is a great learning tool, but sometimes a word or gesture is misunderstood, as we do not see, or hear how it was meant. I d...

NO disrespect to anyone on this board, I'm trying to glean a fix for my long ongoing problem of using hotspot data. So in trying to figure it out. I did not intentionally chose this TTL settings without giving proper credit to who ever originally posted it. I just need to know if I should use the ru...

Re: Hotspot Bypass not registering with custom TTL rules

Hello all, still working on my custom TTL settings--I use hotspot data on my win 10 laptop, but NOT on my older win 7?? # This file is interpreted as shell script. # Put your custom iptables rules here, they will # be executed with each firewall (re-)start. # Internal uci firewall chains are flushed...

What kind of verizon sim was it? Was it one of those unlimited prepaid Jetpack plans by verizon? I just wanted to share my Verizon sim experience with you, I have done so in other posts-- This worked out to be the cheapest way for me, I have 4 lines on my post paid account--2 are phones--2 are tabl...

Re: WE826-T2 MC7455 using (hotspot) data

It's probably saving it in the system, just not displaying it once it's rebooted. All that matters is that it works. You are probable correct, as I would go back, and log back in to the router, and click on the blank line where the intended address should be--and it would re-appear :) thanks, Rocky

Re: WE826-T2 MC7455 using (hotspot) data

As for saving the custom DNS, make sure you are using the "Save & Apply" button and not just the save.
I did use the (save & apply) button, numerous times, and it would NOT save the (2) Ipv6 lines??
oh well it's working. :)

Re: WE826-T2 MC7455 using (hotspot) data

I really appreciate all the tips and tricks---I will give it a go. MY router did not have the TTL 117 drop-down when I received it, but I added it later, (thanks to Jim Helms)
Do I put the # sign in front of #117--or is it front of the rules--as in your screen shot--as I suspect-lol

Re: WE826-T2 MC7455 using (hotspot) data

It has to be something with they way the newer devices package up their data. Maybe the older devices are not using ip6? Re: WE826-T2 MC7455 using (hotspot) data

I am also really curious about this as well. Mine shows up on a postpaid VZ account as a "router" and my sim unlimited data plan but all my data shows up as hotspot data no matter what TTL I set it to in the firewall settings. I tried every one of the TTL overrides just in case, then conn...
