Yep, there are some DIY versions out there. Eventually there may be a commercial non-diy competitor, likely out of China. The InvisaGig is made to be as easy to setup and use as possible for the modem tech that it is. Plug and play with the right SIM card, minimal setup to get going for other SIMs. ...

This has been a reported issue with SA on Tmobile. These 5G Stand Alone bands do not allow constant connection at every site. Cell phones will swap bands around actively as well. The modem settings save automatically. You can make sure by running AT+QPRTPARA=1
You only need to run that once though, never needed again. IT just says, 'Hey make sure to always save settings to backup memeoy' .. basically.

The modem uses the main and div ports for all general LTE transmissions. It only uses the two mimo ports for mid and high band frequencies (MHB: 1452–2690 MHz), and only under load, AND only on towers that support 4x4 MIMO engagement. The Main and Div will support all frequencies (~600-6000 MHz)

You can't change the IMEI that the SIM is locked to, but you can change the devices IMEI to match the one the SIM card is locked to.
It depends on the device, for how this is done. You can search it for basically any device that has the capability, and most are pretty simple right now.

It is not likely that you can swap it, as Tmobile has locked these types of SIM cards to the device IMEI. You CAN swap it into a device that allows the capability to change the IMEI. True IP passthrough is only possible with an assigned public static IP from your cell carrier. Hmmm, so a carrier SIM works in the V7 adapter, but your private SIM doesn't? Should be the same SIM design standards I would think.
Can you show a picture of the pin pad bottom of the SIM cards themselves, side by side your private SIM with a standard carrier SIM?

Did you buy it with the modem already installed, or separately?

Sounds like a bad board maybe, but really hard to tell. One or the other should work, especially the USB.
Which specific board do you have?

Bypass downloading the config file by using the URL: https://192.168.225.1 The next software update, v1.0.8, will move the cert and host fi...

Nothing shows up? Not even an errored device? Generally IF the usb is enabled something should pop up on the usb bus.

Unfortunately no, you'll need an adapter and some software. Shoot MOFI an email and see if they can help, if not we can do our best :) You'll have to remove the modem if MOFI doesn't have QFirehose software built into the firmware. Re: Dropping connection
Unfortunately I don't think Windows logs cell connections. Have you tried using a powered USB hub with it? The EM9191 is known to be power hungry, causing the actual voltage to drop below levels that trigger reboots. Most USB ports aren't well regulated as they aren't really made for heavy power use...

The SIM7 uses the EC25. Have you updated it's firmware; the modem firmware, not the router?
It should still work on Verizon with the right settings. ATT and Tmo as well.

You make Tmo think you're using the phone. No hotspot. You can use prepaid if you want. Settings trickery. It's against ToS, but if you don't want to pay out the kazoo for data, it's the game we play for now.
